About the workshop:
It has been said that poetry exists in that space somewhere between spoken language and pure melody. In this workshop, we will explore the polarities of playing with sound in language and being explicit around our “message.” Can rhyme help open up our readers to our point of view? Can the concept of mood or vibe free us from the demands of logic, and help us impact our readers or listeners in both body and intellect?
